Zhang Mingdao is a Christian in The Church of Almighty God who has experienced several years of Almighty God's work in the last days, understands some truths, and can see the real significance of human life. He is resolved to abandon everything and follow God, and bear witness for God's work and appearance of the last days. Once, while Zhang Mingdao was in the midst of spreading the gospel, he was arrested by Chinese Communist police, who carried out inhuman torture and torment on him, attempting to force him to divulge information about the leaders and finances of the church. Zhang Mingdao prayed to God and relied on God. He endured the painful torture, torment, and cruel beating, and stood firm witness. The Chinese Communist police were shamed into anger, and determined that Zhang Mingdao was no ordinary believer.

            Xiao Ye, Japan

I was born into a blessed family. From a young age, my parents loved me very much. In addition, my grades were good and adults often praised me in front of my brothers, sisters and me: “Xiao Ye will certainly have good prospects in the future….” I really felt so much pride for myself after hearing this and always indulged in self-admiration and wild arrogance, thinking I was better than my siblings, regarding myself as a rare talent in the family…. I grew up in such a superior environment.

In 2013, when I stayed at Aunt Liu’s home to study, Aunt Liu told me about the gospel of the kingdom. Because I was busy with my studies, I did not attend meetings very often and I knew very little about God’s work. However, during this period, I experienced God’s love and blessings.

HOW DOES THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD DEVELOP?

In the Age of Grace, the Lord Jesus promised to His followers, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:3). He also prophesied, “For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even to the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:27).

In the last days, as promised and foretold by Himself, God has again become flesh and descended to the East of the world—China—to do the work of judgment, chastisement, conquest, and salvation using the word, on the foundation of the redemption work of the Lord Jesus.

A Hymn of God's WordsWith True Faith Comes Witness

I

Almighty God, Head of all things, wields kingly power from His throne. Ruling over all things, guiding us on this earth. Come before Him, learn at all times. All people, objects and matters are all permitted by God's throne. So if sickness befalls, God has good intentions. Don't complain, His grace He'll bestow. Even if the body suffers, Satan's ideas you can't keep. Praise God during illness. Don't lose heart or give up. God will shine His light when you seek. God will shine His light when you seek.

II

Think of Job, how faithful he was. God is a powerful doctor. Dwell in sickness, you're sick. Dwell in spirit, you're fine. If you breathe, God won't let you die. Resurrected Christ's life is in us, but we really lack faith in God. May He put the faith in us. All His words are so sweet. God's word is medicine for all. God's word is medicine for all.

III

Shame the devil and shame Satan. God's word quickly will save our hearts. God's word is our support. It dispels all bad things. It sets everything in peace. Faith is like a single log bridge. The coward cannot get across. But those who sacrifice, they are able to pass. Satan fools, with timid thoughts. Satan devises many ways to try to send us its bad thoughts. Often pray for God's light, that He'll cleanse our poison. Come close to God, let Him rule us all. Come close to God, let Him rule us all.
